Katie Hunt Morr believes that entrepreneurs are uniquely placed and obliged to use their skills to help solve some of the world’s most intractable challenges.
She works closely with Sir Richard Branson as director of community for Virgin Unite, and she’s now busy on a new “constellation” project leveraging the business world to give forward for social good.
Previously head of the Values and Impact team at Etsy, and also co-founder and director of the Jiamini Scholarship Fund, a nonprofit empowering young people in Tanzania, Katie shares her perspective on evolved enterprise, conscious capitalism and the important role women have in changing the game of business.
We talk too about the influence of Millenials in demanding corporations step up with transparency in tackling issues of diversity, supply chain and more, plus the surprising impact of investing in young girls in the developing world.
