Angel was on the CEO track at Prudential when a trip to Africa inspired her to quit her corporate job and become an entrepreneur. The result is WealthyLife, a fintech company with a growing array of apps and games like CreditStacker that make financial literacy fun.

Read, Read and Read Some More: When she was 10 and kids her age were reading Dr. Seuss Angel was poring over business, psychology, philosophy, and personal growth books – her favorite was “The Greatest Salesman in the World”. Her parents taught her this discipline: She would have to report back to them what she learned, and it’s a habit that continues to this day.

Win Pitch Competitions: Angel wins most of them. How? “Have a major life changing problem, an innovative novel solution, a huge market, a solid way to make money, and traction of the company…and a founder with supreme confidence.”

Angel’s 3-Year Plan: “Anyone can change their life in three years if they have a plan and they stick to it,” she says. Year One, focus on your credit score, budget and savings. Year Two, increase your knowledge. Year Three, focus on your personal brand.
