Fran Hauser is one of the influential leaders, innovators and investors changing the game on women investing in women.
Along with 2017’s #MeToo moment came a blossoming of female-run venture and angel funds, and a profound sea-change in how women are showing up to support each other as entrepreneurs and investors. We’ve seen funds like Cowboy Ventures, Female Founders Fund, She EOs, and BBG invest in women, but mainstream venture funds have yet to step up to change their ratios on who gets funded.

She’s also known for building People.com into one of the biggest media brands on the Internet, investing in female founders, and mentoring hundreds of women around the globe. Named one of the 6 Most Powerful Women in NYC’s Tech Scene by Refinery29, Fran has appeared on CNBC and in Forbes, Fast Company, Vogue, Mashable, Ad Age and more. She is the author of The Myth of the Nice Girl, which is being published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in April 2018.
