Karine Nissim took inspiration from her own personal tragedy to help others heal from trauma, grief, and loss.

Karine Nissim is a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder of DayNew—a new social platform combining a supportive community with AI to help people with post-traumatic growth.

After experiencing the sudden loss of her spouse in a boating accident, Karine decided to join forces with Eloise Bune, another successful entrepreneur grieving the loss of her husband to a heart attack.

Together their mission is to build the go-to platform for when life hits you hard and unexpectedly. DayNew helps people through loss of a loved one, divorce and illness by providing a customized roadmap for post-traumatic growth (PTG). Post-traumatic growth (PTG) enables one to live a life of purpose and appreciation following a sudden trauma. By answering a few questions, DayNew’s proprietary technology and research generates a customized roadmap to help you measure your success and to build new days filled with all the things you need: organizational structure, emotional support and community.

Both Karine and Eloise had previous success building startups to exit, Karine with her husband Aaron building DogVacay, known as the “Airbnb for dogs”, after a viral stint on Shark Tank that landed $47 million in investment and ultimately sold to Rover, while Eloise, prior to founding camping start-up Tentrr with her late husband, was the founder and CEO of Handwriting.io, acquired in 2018.
