150 Mind Movies and a Massive Moonshot: Serial Entrepreneur Natalie Ledwell on Manifesting Multimillion-Dollar Success

Natalie Ledwell is “walk your talk” proof of the law of attraction, now reaching 4 million people worldwide with Mind Movies’ innovative guided visualizations, and now launching a global children’s curriculum called Personal Growth Studies to give kids 5-18 the mindset and other tools they need to live creative, fulfilling lives of financial freedom. Natalie advises on self-care and how to combine visualization with massive inspired action for exponential growth.

Melinda Wittstock:      So a lot of you are going to recognize Natalie Ledwell from Mind Movies. I know I’m a big fan. Natalie, it’s so great to have you on Wings. Thanks for putting on your wings and flying with us today.

Natalie Ledwell:           Ah, thank you for having me. It’s a pleasure being here and I cannot wait to have a chat and share some of the stuff that’s going on in my world right now.

Melinda Wittstock:      Well, absolutely. I always begin these minisodes with what is in inspiring you right now.

Natalie Ledwell:           Right. Well, I am working on a massive project that I said earlier, to the naked eye, doesn’t look I should be doing, that I’m not the right person for this, but I created a children’s version of Mind Movies a couple of years ago. What’s happened as a result of that is that I’ve teamed up with a girlfriend in Sydney and we’re creating a curriculum for schools around the world and so we’re teaching kids the basic law of attraction, setting goals and creating Mind Movies and meditation, and gratitude and then we’re also talking about emotional intelligence. Empathy and compassion, getting them to incorporate success habits at an young age so that they’re consistently believing in themselves and building their self esteem.

To the naked eye, it looks like I shouldn’t be doing this kind of thing, ’cause I left school when I was 15 and I don’t have children, yet here I am and every moment I spend working on this project, I feel with every fiber of my being that this is my purpose and I’m doing exactly what I’m supposed to be doing, so I’m very excited.

Melinda Wittstock:      Oh, that’s so beautiful and so inspiring. It’s funny that we take on all these limiting beliefs as young children and it takes us years to recover from all of that, let all of that stuff go. To start right at the beginning is a beautiful thing and it’s something that really will make such a huge … I was going to say ripple effect, but actually a wave across the world, so gosh, that’s amazing.

Melinda Wittstock:      With all of these things, in our entrepreneurial journey there’s always a challenge. Is there anything challenging you right now?

Natalie Ledwell:           Yes.

Melinda Wittstock:      There always is, right?

Natalie Ledwell:           I, for some reason, believe that I can infiltrate the education systems of countries around the world with a personal development, personal study curriculum, but what’s interesting about that is that because I understand how the law of attraction works, I understand how to manifest and how to believe and expect that things will happen, that this is like a runaway train that I cannot stop and every day, I’m making new contacts and meeting new people and getting connection with different education systems.

What looks like this massive elephant, as every day, there seems to be something positive that’s happening, so it’s a challenge. I try hard not to sit in the bigness of it. I just focus on the job at hand so I can keep my momentum going. Yeah.

Melinda Wittstock:      That’s wonderful. It was a great lesson in terms of how to deal with challenge or how to deal with a big problem. A lot of entrepreneurs go into these big disruptive innovations and you can get overwhelmed if you think about it too big, but if you are aligned in your purpose as you are, all these doors open. You just have to be open to the opportunities, so that’s wonderful to see that manifest.

Natalie Ledwell:           Also, I believe in having a great team. I’ve teamed up with a girlfriend of mine who’s a child psychologist to help with the curriculum. We have an entire graphics team with the PDF’s, and our video editor’s doing the video lessons and there are just so many people that are working to make this vision become a reality, so having the right people, the right team and even the right girlfriends around me, so when I’m having a little mini meltdown, they remind me that I’ve got this, and remind me of the gifts and the talents that I have so that I can prop me back up again and then I can keep going.

Melinda Wittstock:      Yes. We all have those moments, even the most evolved of us, right? That little inner voice … the 3:00 in the morning voice, that inner critic. Gosh, I wish it would shut up sometimes.

Natalie Ledwell:           Well, here’s the thing. I think that we don’t … I do swing between the, “I’m not worthy. I’m not qualified. Who do I think I am?”, but I’m doing that because I’m stepping way outside my comfort zone.

Melinda Wittstock:      Right.

Natalie Ledwell:           And I think that when we do feel that fear … sometimes I feel like I’m a fraud or whatever that is … is because I’m pushing myself. Sometimes, rather than going to the little victim mode, and go, “Okay, I understand why this is happening. It’s because I’m really doing something that … I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m working it out.” I know that I’m on track and that I’m actually being able to step into a much bigger vision for my future and for the children that we’re going to help through the program.

Melinda Wittstock:      Yes, and this is where entrepreneurship is the best therapy, so I mean it really is.

Natalie Ledwell:           Yes.

Melinda Wittstock:      It tests you every time. The growth happens both personally and business when you do step out of your comfort zone. What are your top three go-to pieces of advice for female entrepreneurs, wherever they are in the journey?

Natalie Ledwell:           Yep. First of all, really be clear about where you’re headed. For me, I always create a Mind Movie, or I always sit in meditation or visualization every day of where I’m ending up, because when you can see that in your mind, when you can feel what it’s like to already be there, and you’re taking consistent action, this is how you create the incredible. This is how you create the outrageous, the huge things. That’s really important.

Step two is that when you combine stuff like the law of attraction and these kinds of acumens, we do a business acumen. This is when you get massive [inaudible 00:06:27] success. The full Mind Movies … my ex husband and I, we had 20 different businesses. At one stage, we have four businesses at one time, but it wasn’t until we combined the two of these things together that we actually got exponential. The life that I live now is just way beyond what I could ever have dreamed up for myself. That’s really important.

And the other thing is don’t be too scared to ask for help. I think sometimes we look at other women and we compare ourselves, and go, “Oh, they’re successful and they’ve got it all together and they run a family and they …” No. We all need help so make sure that when do … when you require it that you actually step up and get the help and look after your self-care as well, because when we’re serving other people, we don’t serve from our cup. We serve from the overflow that goes into the saucer underneath the cup.

As long as we can keep ourselves … our health, our self-care up to speed then this is when we can really make a massive change in the world.

Melinda Wittstock:      This is awesome advice. So Natalie, for all the people who heard your big mission, how can they step up and help you?

Natalie Ledwell:           They could help me by … if anyone has any kind of connection with an education system anywhere in the world, they could reach out. If they go to NatalieLedwell.com, you’ll see that there’s actually a specific page about the kids program. You can actually send me a message through that page and that will give me the heads-up that you have a connection. We can talk and then see how we can collaborate and together get this message and this information out to a new generation of kids.

Melinda Wittstock:      Exactly and any woman out there or any man listening who needs to retire some limiting beliefs, they should go check our Mind Movies, right?

Natalie Ledwell:           Absolutely. Mindmovies.com. You can actually download six pre made Mind Movies from that page, which are on building your confidence and money mindsets and a whole bunch of different things. And the cool thing about the Mind Movies is that you can download it straightaway, start watching it and straightaway, you start to put yourself in the movie. You start to put yourself in the picture, so you can see the [inaudible 00:08:39] version of yourself. You can see the confident version of yourself.

The more that you do that, the more that your subconscious [inaudible 00:08:44] really doesn’t know the difference, thinks that this is actually who you are. We start to replace those limiting beliefs with more empowering thoughts and completely change the outcomes that you create in your environment.

Melinda Wittstock:      I love that. Natalie, thank you so much for putting on your wings and flying.

Natalie Ledwell:           Thank you.
