Lena and Steven are founders of the footwear company Xero Shoes. If you’re a Shark Tank fan, you may remember Lena and Steven turning down a $400,000 offer from Kevin O’Leary.

Both are serial entrepreneurs: Steven a former professional stand up comic, award-winning screenwriter, and a competitive sprinter (one of the fastest men over 55 in the country), and Lena, an operational maven who built and sold her first company, a mortgage company, in her 20s. Since her exit, she’s s served as President of a management, Internet marketing, and a publishing company, and managed operations for a housing cooperative. She is also an award-winning author of the fiction book “The Heart of the Cult”.
