How much time do you spend networking?

I don’t mean balancing a drink, canapes, and awkward small talk at an event. I mean cultivating relationships, reaching out to new people, taking time to let people know you are thinking of them, looking for ways to provide value in advice, mentorship or connecting them to others.

Business is about people, and success in business depends on our relationships. Sure, what you know is important but who you know is much more important. So why do so many women entrepreneurs overlook the importance of networking?
